Scitopia.org, the free, federated search portal created by leading science and technology societies, recently launched a new clustered search tool that allows for easier navigation and document retrieval from the technology-focused site. The six pre-defined clusters—topics, authors, publications, publishers, affiliation and date—can be expanded into multiple sub-categories for quicker, more detailed searching. In addition to the new clustering tool, scitopia.org added additional sorting options and a new function to download citations.
